Overview
Soldiers assigned to the 25th Infantry Division are sent to Guadalcanal during the Second World War. Once there, they are engaged in the Battle of Mount Austen. The company is tasked to take Hill 214, which houses a Japanese bunker that rains artillery fire down on American troops. The men of the 25th must deal with many personal issues and mistrust between them and their commanders as they try to secure the enemy bunker and take control of the rest of the island.
