Overview
High school football champion Brick Pollitt is haunted by memories of the past as he and his wife Maggie journey to his wealthy father's Mississippi estate to celebrate his birthday. Depressed by a recent injury, Brick spends his vacation drinking heavily and ignoring his beautiful wife. Believing that his father is dying, Maggie pressures her husband to secure his portion of the family fortune. An inebriated Brick clashes with both his father and Maggie. As family tensions mount, long-held secrets come the surface.
