Kelly is an aging, alcoholic country music star who is currently undergoing the rehabilitation process. Beau is also a country music singer who has been having an affair with Kelly. James is Kelly's husband. James checks Kelly out of her rehabilitation program a month early because he wants her to restore her image immediately with a tour. She agrees if Beau can sing with her but James has already found a potential new start to share the headline named Chiles Stanton. Beau does not like Chiles, but after a string of show disasters, he ends his relationship with Kelly and spends time with Chiles. Beau then confronts James as to Kelly's condition, which is deteriorating. Kelly manages one final sober show, and then commits suicide. Beau moves to California and Chiles follows him. |
