Overview
To stave off the demands of his traditional parents, Taiwanese immigrant Wai-Tung Gao decides he must enter into a marriage of convenience. With the encouragement of his long-time boyfriend Simon, he contracts a fake marriage with Chinese artist Wei-Wei. She needs a green card and he needs a cover story for his parents. To Wai-Tung's dismay, his parents are ecstatic about his coming marriage and travel to the United States to throw a huge wedding celebration. The situation is complicated when Wei-Wei moves in with Wai-Tung, and Simon is forced to pretend to be his partner's straight friend.
