The Pink Panther diamond has been stolen from the country of Lugash. Chief Inspector Clouseau is again called into service to hunt down the thief and bring the priceless jewel back. Unbeknownst to him, he's been targeted for assassination by the mob. Clouseau heads to London to meet with detectives at Scotland Yard. Chief Inspector Dreyfus sends Clouseau on to Lugash. His plane crashes and all aboard are feared dead. TV reporter Mari Jouvet is assigned to cover the tragic story. For her news piece on Clouseau she interviews people that have played a significant role in his life. A mafia boss threatens her to stop asking questions. Despite this, she holds out hope that the famous detective is still alive. A touching tribute follows. |
