Overview
12-year-old Michael lives in a cramped project house with is aunt and cousins. Known by the nickname “Fresh,” he leads a double life as a drug pusher. Fresh’s father is homeless, but sometimes they get together for a game of chess. His sister sleeps with Fresh’s dealers and has become an addict. Fresh is a quiet kid in a wild world. Soon, he realizes that dealing drugs is a huge mistake. How can Fresh get out?
