Overview
New York cook José is annoyed when his brother fires a waitress named Nina for being late two days in a row at the family restaurant. He walks out on the kitchen after an argument, determined to help Nina. Seeing that she is upset, he finds out that she is pregnant and is considering an abortion. Hoping to change her mind, José spends a day with Nina, talking to her and inviting her to spend time with his family.
