While traveling in Thailand, a young American named Richard is given a map by mysterious (and possibly crazy) man who he meets at a hotel. The map supposedly leads to a secluded beach on a remote island where a colony of young travelers are living in paradise, content to live apart from the rest of the world. Richard and two friends set out to find the beach and join it's inhabitants. After their successful journey, life appears perfect. It soon becomes clear however, that the island paradise is not as idyllic as it first appeared to be. Richard struggles to deal with the chaos that his arrival seems to have caused. |
