Millionaire Rod McCain knows how to turn around a failing business, and when he spots the struggling Marwood Zoo in London, he's sure he's stumbled on his next great turnaround prospect. He sends manager Rollo Lee to take the helm, and soon Lee is ridding the zoo of its more docile attractions and marketing the zoo as the world's fiercest menagerie. The "fierce creatures" approach meets resistance from the keepers, however; finding the zoo much more trouble than it's worth, McCain turns the whole project over to son Vince, who knows all the underhanded marketing tricks -- and animatronic animals -- that are bound to bring in the paying customers. The rivalry among the team of managers, and Vince's jungle combat with upstart Rollo Lee for the affections of the fetching Willa Weston, add just the right note of light-hearted romantic tension. |
