Overview
Monsignor Desmond Spellacet is a priest in a powerful diocese and makes the church a lot of money by brokering real estate and development projects. Tom Spellacy is a Los Angeles police officer with a shady past as a bag man for an unscrupulous developer and Spellacet's brother. The two are forced back together after a long separation when first a priest is found dead in a brothel and then a prostitute is found dead and cut in half and thrown in an empty lot.
