Overview
In 1975, a biological war between Russia and China has practically annihilated all of the world’s population except for a few survivors in Los Angeles and Dr. Robert Neville, a scientist who managed to take an experimental vaccine that made him immune. The survivors have morphed into a band of albino, demented mutants who are sensitive to light. This band calls themselves “The Family” and is led by Matthias, a maniac former news broadcaster. The Family believes that science is responsible for their condition, and they are intent on killing Dr. Neville. One day, Dr. Neville comes across a group of children who are also apparently unaffected by the chemical warfare. Neville believes that he has the vaccine for all of them to survive, but he has to be able to keep them safe from The Family to prove it.
