Trailer | Overview Mikey has now grown up into a child in elementary school, as has his sister Julie. Hence, they can speak perfectly well for themselves now, so there is no need for their thoughts to be conveyed by adult actors in voice-overs. Instead, it's dog thoughts that we hear aloud. Through differing circumstances, the family comes to adopt two dogs. One is a rough and tumble stray, and the other is a spoiled pooch with a pedigree. Everything that happens revolves around Christmas to some degree, and the action culminates on Christmas. Mikey has a crisis after he sees a mall Santa undressing, which leads him to believe Santa doesn't exist. Meanwhile, the parents' marriage is in jeopardy because a vixen is coming on to Dad. |
