Trailer | Overview This biographical drama displays the rise and fall of 1950’s doo-wop singer, Frankie Lymon. Frankie started out singing in a teenage boy group at the age of 13, which they quickly erupted to fame with their hit single “Why Do Fools Fall in Love”. The story is told in a court room as three women claim to be married to Frankie are fighting over his estate. As each of the women tell their story, it flashback between the 50’s and 60’s as Frankie goes solo, lose his career, and battle drug abuse. Although the three women made compelling arguments, only one of them proved to be the real Mrs. Lymon and surprisingly another woman was entitled to the estate. |
