Overview
In west Texas, where high school football reins supreme, Jonathan Moxon is starting to feel the pressures. As the second string quarterback, Mox finds himself living in the shadow of the teams star, Lance Harbor. However, when Lance is injured and cannot play, Mox finds himself thrown immediately into the limelight. After winning 22 division titles, coach Bud Kilmer will do just about anything to lead his team to another victory, but can Mox handle the pressure? Mox soon finds out that being the star player comes with a lot of work and finds himself dealing with tough situations that no 17 year old should be faced with. His popularity comes with some pretty good perks, women being the most prevalent, but his journey to fame will portray how young athletes deal with the pressures that come their way.
