Overview
This classic 1970 film tells the story of a medical unit stationed in Korea during 1951. Captains “Hawkeye” Pierce, “Duke” Forrest and “Trapper” John McIntyre are all excellent surgeons with a taste for mischief. Their constant rule-breaking and womanizing upset their tent mate, Major Frank Burns who joins with Major Margaret Houlihan, the chief nurse, in believing the camp is out of control and needs change. The unit’s chief officer, Lt. Colonel Henry Blake, doesn’t seem to agree, as long as the important job of saving lives is taken care of.
