After a young couple experiences a burglary at their home, they become friendly with the police officer who responded to their call. The officer assists them with the installation of an alarm system and later starts stopping by the house on his free time. He starts to take a liking to the husband's wife and becomes increasingly interested in the couple's relationship issues.
