Overview
Teddy Piece is a boring ad man that becomes obsessed by a beautiful woman. She is standing over a grate when the wind whooshes the skirt of her red dress up a la Marilyn Monroe style. Although he is happily married, he can't get the woman in red out of his mind. He confides to his three best buddies, and they encourage him to try to hook up with her. When he calls her, he thinks he has made a date with her. However, he had mistakenly called Ms. Milner, a "plain Jane" office employee. Flattered by his interest, she is furious when she gets stood up. Eventually, Teddy does become acquainted with the woman in red, a model named Charlotte. Teddy spiffs up his wardrobe and begins pulling pranks to see her. A series of event leads to Teddy being invited into Charlotte's bed. Her airline pilot husband returns home. Teddy goes out the bedroom window. Dangling from the ledge, he is believed to be attempting suicide and the local news shows up.
