Overview
Methodical serial killer David Allen Griffin selects his female victim at random, researching for weeks until satisfied of his awareness of her habits. He prepares to secure entry when she's by herself, restrains her and in time imposes a lengthy death. Former FBI agent Joel Campbell has relocated to Chicago. Unable to live a normal existence due to the haunting memory of his lover's death and his bitter failure to capture David, Joel starts therapy with Dr. Polly Beilman. David begins sending cryptic pictures of every new murder victim to Joel in order to reestablish contact and rebuild the previous relationship he feels they had. Dr. Polly Beilman becomes David's next unsuspecting target and the battle rages between Joel and David to determine her fate.
