Overview
Mack Wilson has a long history with the planet Mars. Her father died during the first manned trip to Mars and as a scientist she has spent her life hoping she can visit the planet. She gets her chance when she's sent to examine a mysterious cube that's materialized over Mars. While examining the cube, Wilson spars with Mission Control back on Earth as well as the ship's computer ARTi, which becomes convinced that mankind shouldn't survive. But everything changes when Wilson's ship crashes and she juggles exploring the mysterious object while still trying to survive a harsh and dangerous environment.
