Overview
This satirical look at what it takes to create a hit show on Broadway follows the desires of accountant Leo Bloom and theatrical producer May Bialystock. The duo has plans to fleece investors of all of the money they give them to produce a new Broadway play and then leave the country to hide out in Brazil on their ill-gotten gains. But that plan never materializes when the play they hoped would quickly flop on the Great White Way becomes an overnight success instead.
