Overview
From hard scrabble beginnings as a Kentucky moonshiner to ownership of a strip club and eventually becoming publisher of a popular men's magazine called "Hustler", Larry Flynt ruffles the feathers of many conservative citizens. These include the founders of Citizens for Decent Literature, who launch a series of legal attacks against the alleged pornographer. One of Flynt's legal cases goes all the way to the Supreme Court, where Flynt, who is ultimately shot and disabled by a disgruntled sniper, uses his First Amendment rights to win his case. The real life Flynt has a cameo as a Supreme Court justice.
