It’s a dark and rainy night. Jim Halsey and his girlfriend Grace Andrews pick up a mysterious hitchhiker, John Ryder. Before long, the pair learns John is a psychopath – he pulls out a knife and terrorizes the young couple. Jim manages to throw him out on the side of the road. Jim and Grace witness John in another car the next morning. They try to warn the driver, but their efforts are cut short when they get into an accident. Later, while hiking down the road, they find they entire family stabbed in the car. Only the driver survives. The young couple takes the driver in search of help and a dangerous game of cat and mouse begins. |
