Dr. Abigail Tyler is a psychologist from Nome, Alaska. When her husband, also a psychologist, mysteriously dies, Abigail decides to continue his research on patients with amnesia and insomnia. These patients have all reported seeing a white owl before experiencing episodes of amnesia. Abigail decides to use hypnosis on two of her patients and finds that they tell similar horrifying stories of creatures trying to come into their homes. She quickly begins to suspect that the creatures her patients speak of are not of this world. When Abigail herself has a similar experience, she enlists the help of a colleague to investigate the strange occurrences. As the two delve deeper into the mystery, Abigail finds herself face to face with an encounter of the fourth kind. |
