Overview
Shirlee Kenyon is just a small town girl and she's getting tired of being stuck. She dumps her boyfriend and moves to Chicago to look for a better life than she had back home. Through a series of mishaps and misunderstandings, Shirlee finds herself hosting a call-in radio show. They give her the job on the show, but insist she be called Doctor when she isn't. A local newsman has his suspicions about her credentials, but as he gets closer to the truth he realizes that he's falling for Shirlee.
