Eddie Keller is a Viet Nam Vet who has just spent five years in hell and simply wants to return to his life in the U.S. He soon finds things won't be that easy. The Viet Kong forced him to sign a denouncement of the U.S.'s involvement in the Viet Nam War in exchange for medical treatment for fellow captive and pal Eddie. He's denied his back pay due to the denouncement. His wife moved on with someone else. His business is bust. His mother has been committed. There seems to be no place for Eddie to go but down. A shimmering light of hope in guise of friendly prostitute Toni may just be what the doctor ordered. Has she arrived in time to help? |
