Overview
Rita has never been the most positive or optimistic person. She firmly believes that everything will eventually come to an end. When she meets Peter she does not change her mind despite her attraction to him. Despite her concerns about doomed endings, she allows herself to become involved with Peter. She is often concerned that he gets upset about things that he should not, and views those moments as testimony of the eventual failure that will take place. When a real test comes into their lives, Peter has to convince Rita that not everything is doomed.
