The underdogs of the local police academy are now looking at their first assignment. Captain Lassard runs the 16th precinct, but it is one of the worst group of officers around with corruption and poor tactical training. Academy alumni Mahoney, Hooks, Tackleberry, Hightower, Jones and Fackler are assigned to Lassard's precinct. Wanting Lassard to fail, Lieutenant Mauser tries repeatedly to stop the new recruits from cleaning up the city. Mahoney and his crew may have an unusual policing strategy, but their loyalty comes from the heart. As the Academy alumni bond and work together with the other precinct police officers, Mauser finds it harder to find people on his side. With a captain's position at stake, Mauser looks for any opportunity to get rid of Mahoney and his friends. |
