Overview
Farley Mowat is send to Canada to study the effects of wolves on the local caribou. The conditions in the north are difficult for Mowat to navigate, and soon he realizes that it will take everything within him to survive. The harsh conditions make him sympathetic to the wolves he once despised, because he realizes that they only act out of their need for survival, just like he does. When he returns to civilization, he has a great new story to tell about his adventures.
