Overview
A bittersweet comedy starring Eddie Griffin, Michael Imperioli and Anthony Anderson, three childhood buddies who simultaneously get their girlfriends pregnant and together face an awkward first-time fatherhood. Liberian-born Cheryl Dunye (Stranger Inside and The Watermelon Woman) directed this 2004 movie about the joys and challenges of sudden parental responsibility. Inspired by Three Men and a Baby, the movie breezes lightly from frat-house comedy to more tender-and-touching moments, as the trio of hard-partying players become tender babysitters.
