Overview
Dante and his friend Randall are clerks in New Jersey; Dante at a convenience store and Randall at the attached video store. Dante gets called into work on his day off and has a series of interesting interactions with customers, Randall, his ex-girlfriend and his current girlfriend Veronica. His customers range from an undercover gum representative who blames Dante for selling cigarettes to a man who sneaks into the bathroom with pornography and then dies there. Randall periodically stops by to harass Dante's customers. His recently engaged ex-girlfriend Caitlin stops by, says she’s not engaged, and Dante tries unsuccessfully to rekindle their relationship. Randall tells Veronica about Dante’s plans which, after Veronica breaks up with him, causes a huge fight between the friends.
