A red-headed orphan named Madeline lives in a Parisian boarding house run by a nun named Miss Clavel. She and the other girls live very orderly lives. Sometimes, however, they are tormented by the pranks of Pepito, the son of a Spanish ambassador who works at the school. He tries to scare the girls, but courageous Madeline won’t be scared, and steals Pepito’s motorcycle keys to get back at him. Madeline later decides to join the circus. On her way there, she learns of an attempt to kidnap Pepito and tries to stop it. She gets kidnapped right along with him, and the two of them have an adventurous time escaping. |
