A sudden and violent rainstorm leaves ten strangers stranded at a remote motel in Nevada. The motel manager, Larry Washington, prepares to help the group, which includes a couple on their honeymoon, a movie star and her chauffeur, a family of three, a prostitute, and a cop who is transporting a serial killer. The storm continues to get worse, flooding both ends of the road, and the group resolves to spend the night. The motel patrons begin to settle down for the night but quickly find themselves at odds with an unknown murderer who is killing them off one by one. As the strangers struggle to find out who is responsible for the deaths, they begin to learn more about each other and realize that their gathering at the motel may be more than a coincidence. |
