Overview
Gigi Haim is among eight other Baltimore men and women who are desperately trying to figure out the opposite sex. Gigi is the biggest hopeless romantic of them all, and she is constantly misreading the ambiguous tones of her potential partners, such as Alex, as signs that they're romantically interested in her. Gigi's co-worker, Janine, has man problems of her own with her husband, Ben. The couple have not been on the same page for some time and matters are made worse when Janine, a passionate anti-smoker, finds packs of cigarettes around the house. Even finding out that Ben has been cheating on her with Anna is not enough to save their marriage after this. Conor, Mary, Beth and Neil also try to sift out the kinks in their respective relationships.
