Overview
A young Viking warrior prince, Amleth, knows only a life of joy until his father, King Aurvandil War Raven, and many of his people are slaughtered and his mother, Queen Gudrun, is enslaved by his uncle Fjolnir. After Amleth escapes the slaughter, he listens to his father's last words and flees to the ocean. He vows that he will avenge his father, save his mother and kill his uncle. Through the years that follow as he grows up, Amleth never wavers from his need to keep this vow. Yet, to make good on his promise to himself and the gods, he must travel far and wide and fight like no warrior has ever fought before him.
