Overview
In the early 1800s, Zorro is a rebel and champion of the common people in California. However, his secret identity is revealed. The evil Governor Montero kills Zorro’s wife, steals his daughter to raise as his own and imprisons Zorro. After 20 years in prison, Zorro learns that Governor Montero has returned to California. He escapes from prison and plans his revenge against Montero. However, he is old and not the man he once was, which means that he will need help to enact his revenge. Therefore, Zorro must train a new man to take his role as the masked swordsman famous for the Z-slashing mark. Together, they must bring to justice the heinous Governor Montero and save California as well as reveal Zorro’s daughter’s true identity.
