Overview
For heavy metal drummer and recovering addict Ruben, music is everything. After a string of particularly high-energy gigs, Ruben's world turns to turmoil as he begins to lose his hearing. Concerned, Ruben's girlfriend and bandmate check him into a sober house for the deaf, hoping to prevent relapse and help Ruben adjust to life without his hearing. After finding peace in his new home, Ruben must make a difficult choice between his mental health and his musical ambition. As the drama unfolds, the action explores themes of acceptance and the daily challenges of the deaf community in the United States.
