Overview
Spartacus, a Thracian slave, is sold to a gladiator trainer and is trained for the arena. Spartacus leads a slave rebellion against the Romans and gains power as more slaves join the revolt as they fight their way to the return to their homeland. Meanwhile, back in Rome, two Roman Senators are using the slave revolt as a means to obtain power in the Roman Senate. Having been betrayed by their allies, the slave revolt must face the full power of the Roman Empire with drastic consequences.
