Overview
Alex Malmquist is a college student who is trying to adjust to life on campus as a freshman. Not being able to make friends too easily, he begins to feel alone and hopeless, and he starts to struggle to find a reason to try to hold onto his independence instead of returning home, which is 1500 miles away. He later attends a party at his college at a place called Shithouse. where he runs into his Resident Assistant, Maggie Hill, who has been having a very bad day. The two end up spending the night together and afterwards becoming closer as they help each other navigate through the struggles of young adulthood.
