Overview
Famous Australian actor Paul Hogan finds himself under consideration for a new film and a knighthood because of his film industry work from the 1980's and early 1990's. Although he had been previously nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and an Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Longford Lyell Award, he fell from grace and had no desire to involve himself with Hollywood ever again. Initially, he didn't care about re-establishing his popularity and repairing his reputation, but then his granddaughter asked him to reconsider. Reluctantly, Hogan agrees to have his private life once more become a public spectacle as he attempts to create a lasting positive legacy for himself and his loved ones.
