Overview
This heartfelt drama explores faith and race relations in the midwestern United States. Born into poverty in a Chicago ghetto, budding lawyer Jackie Styles dedicates himself to providing his family with a better life. His son, Kholi, struggles to adjust to his new high school when he is wrongfully accused of murdering one of his white classmates. Due to deep-seated racial prejudice, the mostly white community paints African-American Kholi as a monster who is guilty until proven innocent. Now Jackie must race against the clock to free his son as he stands up against Kholi's accusers.
