Overview
California teen Cory Bailey dreams of being a scientist. After a great deal of hard work, she earns an opportunity to spend a semester studying ocean waves on one of the most advanced research vessels in the world. She only needs to arrive in time to get on the boat in Australia before it leaves. Yet, when Cory arrives at the airport in Sydney, she gets on the wrong bus. She soon learns that she has accidentally traveled to the Harold Soccer Academy. The head coach then informs her that she's missed her chance, but allows her to stay at the school as long as she learns how to play soccer. Cory must face a lot of obstacles she's never dealt with before, including the interest of a popular male player, the loathing of the most popular female one and participation in a national soccer tournament.
