Overview
A street urchin named Quick gets an early start in organized crime when he saves the life of nightclub owner Sugar Ray. Sugar Ray adopts Quick, and 20 years later they run a nightclub together with illegal gambling and prostitution in the back. When gangster Bugsy Calhoun muscles in on them, Ray and Quick decide to shut down the club, but to first pull off one last caper. They'll attempt to enrich themselves at Bugsy's expense by having a boxer loyal to them throw a fight while also robbing the betting parlors run by Calhoun.
