Overview
A group of young boys set out to become soldiers. Their journey begins in boot camp where friendships and tragedy combine when one of their comrades commits suicide. They are eventually shipped off where they take part in the Vietnam war. There, they end up embroiled in conflict and eventually find themselves pinned down under the hail of fire from a sniper’s rifle. This results in the death of one of the friends, which compels the rest of them to forge ahead and get revenge for their fallen brother in arms. They succeed but are met with more tragedy when it is discovered that the sniper is a young girl and Joker, a soldier with no confirmed kills, is tasked with killing the sniper.
