Overview
The time is 1888 and London is suffering from a killer known only as Jack the Ripper. The killer has been killing and dissecting the prostitutes and women of the night in the Whitechapel. Fred Abberline works in the Scotland Yard as an Inspector, along with Peter Godley his partner, and the two are charged with finding out who this person is, why he or she is killing women, and how to stop the murders. Abberline is also an opium addict who can tell the future during his opium highs. As they investigate the terrible crimes, they meet and get to know the women who are in danger, leading Abberline to fall in love with a woman named Mary Kelly. However, Abberline soon realizes that Mary Kelly is in fact the next victim.
