Overview
S.D. Kluger begins the story of Santa Claus after his mail truck breaks down. Baby Claus was whisked away by a gust of wind to be raised by an elf family, the Kringles, and re-named Kris. When Kris became old enough, he delivered toys to the children of Sombertown, only to be thwarted by Burgermeister Meisterburger, Sombertown's mean-spirited ruler. Along the way, Kris softens the cold heart of the evil wizard Winter and finds a bride in Sombertown's schoolteacher. Eventually, Sombertown is freed from the reign of the Meisterburger's and Kris is can joyfully deliver his toys.
