Overview
After almost losing his life in a drunk driving accident, Portland native John Callahan has to come to grips with his demons. Giving up drinking is the last thing on his mind, but rehab is the only way he'll be able to get through another day of life. While in rehab, he stumbles upon a talent he never knew he had. It turns out he has a gift for drawing cartoon characters who aren't cut from a traditional mode. With a bit of encouragement from his AA sponsor and girlfriend, John sets out to turn his life around by drawing eccentric cartoons for a quirky newspaper. National notoriety indeed gives him a new lease on life.
