127 Hours tells the true story of an outdoor enthusiast who finds himself helplessly stuck in a crevice in a Utah canyon. Aron Ralston is an experienced canyon explorer. He parks his truck and heads out on his mountain bike, meeting two young women along the way. He takes the time to show them beautiful sights in the canyon before heading back out on his own. Before long, he is trapped by a massive boulder wedged between narrow canyon walls. His arm is pinned between an immovable rock and a stone wall. After days with no human contact, days during which Aron is forced to drink his own urine and films goodbyes to his family, he takes extreme measures to save his own life. |
