Overview
Detective Danny Gallagher's entire life goes sideways when a drug bust leads to the deaths of an undercover narcotics officer and his partner, Charlie. Danny and Charlie had a lead on a drug kingpin. During a shootout, Charlie accidentally kills the undercover cop. The mobster gets away, but not before he kills Charlie. Word soon spreads that Danny, the only witness, is a bent, dirty cop. After serving a prison sentence, Danny does everything he can to get revenge against the mobster and anyone else who might have been involved in the case. Yet, as Danny tries to work every angle to solve the case, he soon learns that he's in over his head. Besides the drug dealer, he must contend with police corruption and a beautiful government agent who might not be as clean as she claims.
