Overview
Henry can't go out in the sunlight because of a rare skin condition. He still lives at home with his mother in Battlecreek. He usually only leaves to go outside at night. He works at a gas station, spends time with locals at the diner and floats in the creek under the light of the moon. He floats through life as well in a way until one day a girl, Alison, shows up with a car that needs repairs. Alison has a troubled life as well. Over time, Henry and Alison discover that their lives aren't as restricted as others have made them believe.
