Overview
After aliens destroy much of humanity and civilization on Earth, the remaining people survive underground in city-size bunkers. In the generations since the attack, a soldier class trained to protect humanity from future alient attacks has risen up from the ashes. One new soldier, Private S.U.M.1 from the Exilium compound, receives an above-ground assignment to spend 100 days at a remote outpost to monitor activities and protect his home. As each day passes, the isolation starts to erode S.U.M.1's grip on reality. His crumbling sanity even makes him question whether there was ever an attack on the Earth at all.
